General statistics include such categories as population, mean travel time to work, high school/college graduate numbers, median household income, and per capita income, to name a few. Free No Demographics http://www.ccps.virginia.edu/Demographics Useful website gives lots of demographic information for Virginia and its counties and cities. Some of this information includes useful data on current and future numbers for enrolled students who will be joining the workforce. Free No Demographics http://www.yesvirginia.org/site_selection/vascan.aspx Section of the Virginia Economic Development Partnership website which helps start-ups and continuing businesses to expand and increase trade. This link allows you to find out the demographics of a specific Virginia county (this site requires some searching, click on Community Profiles or MSA Profiles for some valuable county/regional demographical information; the Home Page is located at www.yesvirginia.org). Free No Demographics http://factfinder.census.gov/ Section of the US Census website gives specific information regarding local demographics of a state, county, or city. Examples of some statistics include types of transportation to work, numbers and percentages of those employed in local industries, household income ranges, and numbers of unemployed people in the labor force (site requires some searching).
